Day 115..."Various laws...God is our help and shield...Sabbath Trouble Again"

Deuteronomy speaks to some areas of uncleanliness that are rated at least PG13. As Wyley Murray said at our staff meeting today..."rules have to be place for 3 million people camping in the wilderness." This explanation works for me. The Psalmist uses intensifications to make a point..."He is their help and their shield" and "He will bless the house." Jesus teaches about repentance and then later a barren fig tree should not use up the ground. A woman with a disabling condition is healed after 18 years! What is noticed about this miracle? Jesus healed on the Sabbath. Jesus says..."an ox is led to drink on the Sabbath." The relationship with the religious people grows more adversarial. Jesus teaches of the faith of mustard seed. The Kingdom of Heaven is also compared to leaven hidden in flour causing the bread to rise. The qualities of the Kingdom of God are hidden until the time for the Kingdom to be seen through action. I suppose this would be like lighting a lamp for all to see eventually!
