Day 147...HAPPY NEW YEAR! "Cokesbury and Instruments"...and end to the Psalms and 2006"

We end the Psalms with a challenge to praise the Lord! We have gifted people at Cokesbury! Our worship options feature several instrumentalists. Thank God for all the talent at Cokesbury. I hope the talented people will grow in 2007. I hope we can live out the 150th Psalm in the New Year! "Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary;praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds;praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound;praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance;praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals;praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!" HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Here in Ps. and in Judges, when we return to that reading, there is a key to victory in our trials and tribulations. Israel ask God who to send first into battle? God's answer, "Send Judah First." Judah means "Praise." There is a song I like that goes, "Send Judah first & the battle will be won." When I praise God, my issues, trials, and problems are dimenished!
