The Ark of the Lord was not welcomed in the land of the Philistines, after plagues appeared in an Egyptian kind of way. They sent the Ark away and it made it back to Israel by way of cows and a cart. Jesus heals a blind man but the story is more about the "blindness" of the Pharisees. Amazingly, the miracle of a blind man seeing was missed because of a perceived Sabbath violation. The presence of spiritual blindness is more disturbing than a person without physical sight. Helen Keller once said the greatest limitation was "to have sight and no vision."
