Day 174..."Saul's troubles continue...Tomorrow is only certain in Jesus"
Saul is still disturbed and unraveling in every chapter. David flees to the Philistines for over a year and continues to mount up victories. One scene difficult to follow is Saul in conversation with Samuel who is dead. Is this some kind of spirit? Or other supernatural encounter. Whatever Saul continues to lose it. The Proverbs warns of boasting about tomorrow ..."
Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring."
Jesus offers the only certain security for tomorrow with His teaching of life and Heaven. The words of Jesus change lives especially these words...
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life."

To me the 4 chapters (14,15,16,& 17)of John are the most revealing of any in the Bible. Full of promise, simple instruction, and conditions for our overcoming this life, They reveal the Fathers love for us and His provision through His only Son - Jesus.
