Day 355..."New covenant...vision of Christ's Kingdom"

The Book of Hebrews continues to connect Jesus with Malchizadek. Jesus becomes the new and perfect High Priest. I noticed in reading the old covenant was considered not perfect. (that caught my attention) I researched this a bit and found that this does not make God's first covenant imperfect but rather the people that lived by the covenant were ineffective. (NKJV study notes) The way of Jesus is perfection. We are challenged to follow the new covenant...Jesus' perfect sacrifice on the cross. There is no need for any other covenant. Hebrews will continue this thought of Jesus being the perfect sacrifice in chapter ten.

Revelation has the seventh trumpet and there is a vision of Christ's Kingdom..."Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.” And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was,for you have taken your great power and begun to reign." The presence of the Ark of the Covenant indicates God's presence. (NKJV notes) Lightning then came (even beyond our storm the other night) and spectacular images abound in the reading.
