Day 358..."Angels unaware...Security...Another number"

The writer of Hebrews teaches about treating people well for there may be angels unaware..."Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." I am not ashamed that a few angels unaware have come my way! You just never know when you might encounter an angel! Be aware.

Hebrews 13:8 is a passage I used to keep on my desk..."Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." This passage is one of great security in my faith journey. I may find another copy soon, as I miss the reminder.

Revelation introduces the number 144,000 people will be saved. In a world of seven billion, I think yikes. Then I remember the context...144,000 was a huge number in the day this was wriiten. Also, 144 is 12x12...a perfect continuation of the tribes of Israel. This would encompass the millions and perhaps billions of Christendom. Bottom line...only God knows.
