Day 359..."James gems..."Seven angels and plagues"

The Book of James is filled with spiritual gems...

" If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."
(Life application...stability comes through faith)

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like." (Life application..."walk the talk")

"If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless." (Life application...our talk can destroy our witness")

"What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."

Revelation fifteen is only seven passages. There are seven angels and seven plagues reported. The judgment of God continues.
