Day 14 "What do we make of schemes in the Bible?"

Last year in reading through the Bible I noticed the numerous schemes used by God's people. Jacob tricked Esau out of his blessing. What do we make of these schemes? Are these instances of human beings being human? Are we any different today? Why do we scheme for advantage when God's blessings come through faithfulness?
