Day 41 "Do you know what you are asking?"

Jesus was asked by a mother for her two sons (disciples) to sit on the His right and left in His Kingdom. Jesus pointed out she did not know what she was asking for them. Those closest to Jesus will serve and not be served. The "cup" of Jesus would require suffering on the cross. She, nor the disciples, had no idea what she was asking. Our discipleship also calls us to serve.
