Day 48 Our offerings an afterthought?
In reading Leviticus, we cannot help but notice offerings are front and center to our relationship with the Lord. Obviously, the offerings are very meticulously described and given. An average offering takes about three to four minutes in our worship today. In giving little time and token amounts ...are our offerings today an afterthought? We do have tithers, generous givers, cheerful givers, and sacrificial givers to elevate the worship in the modern day offering. Amen.

Offerings to God had to be brought to the Priest - He was the only one who could make the offerings. Our offerings will be accepted if we become priest which is only possible if we are in Christ Jesus through the new birth and represented by Baptism where we die to ourselves and live to God.
