Day 57 Do we believe in the resurrection?
Today's reading is Matthew's account of the resurrection. Notice that there is a "cover up" story to claim the body of Jesus was stolen. How could there have been such corruption to want to "cover up" such amazing news!
The people of that day would stop at no ends to discredit Jesus.
Today, people still are too analytical about the resurrection of Christ. Have we grasped the good news of the risen Savior! Jesus' resurrection is not just history. New life is possible today! Do we live as though we believe in the resurrection. Fearless and confident the victory is already won. (For more you can read day 57 in the October, 2006 link)

Jesus' resurrection was the final "proof" that the Kingdom of God was here - a major threat to the religious and civic leaders of that day - and to your and my "Kingdoms" today! Each Service we pray - Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May God's Kingdom come in me and may his life be in me through the living Jesus - a men!
