Day 64 Can you name the 12 Disciples?

(For my comments about the sexual laws in Leviticus go to Day 64, October, 2006)

Today...how about a fun question? Can you name the 12 disciples? I admit I looked.

Peter
James
John
Andrew
Philip
Bartholomew
Matthew
Thomas
James
Thaddaeus
Simon
Judas

So, then Mark and Luke wrote gospels but weren't disciples?

I believe that Mark & Luke would qualify as disciples but not a part of the original 12 Apostles. Luke 6:13. A good question would be "Are there Apostles and Prophets today?" Elsewhere it is recorded by the Holy Spirit that the Church is build upon the Apostles and Prophets with Jesus as the cornerstone. Are these gifts to the Church working today?

Good point Jack B. The original twelve included Matthew and John but not Mark and Luke.

I also like the symbolic answer James Mills gave about what it means to be a disciple! Lord make us more like Jesus!
