Day 137 Who walks with us?

The Psalmist says..."Though I walk in the midst of trouble,you preserve my life." God walks with us in trouble. Luke also records Jesus walking with the disciples on the road to Emmaus. The disciples were sad from Jesus' death and did not realize He walked with them. In one of the most dramatic accounts of opening blind eyes Luke records..."When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them. And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight. They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?” Are our eyes open to see God walking with us?
