Day 144 Is God's mercy in the Old Testament?

Popular opinion is that God's judgment is revealed in the Old Testament and mercy in the New Testament. Is this statement true? The Psalmist offers another way God has been revealed..."The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made." We may see more evidence of judgment in the Old Testament but obviously we read about God's mercy also.
