Day 148 Which is more important?
Which is more important? The creation account of Genesis? Or the spiritual creation account in John. Both are awesome! In John's account we read of light and truth for the soul in Jesus. We can only marvel at the miracle and mystery of "the Word becoming flesh and dwelling among us." Dr. Evelyn Laycock says we are "spiritual beings having a human experience" instead of "humans seeking a spiritual experience." After reading John's prologue, who can argue?

Have you ever considered the relationship between our love of Jesus and the Love of God's Word - the Bible? According to today's reading in John, there is no difference - we should see Jesus in every page/description of the Bible. Lord may we have eyes to see!
