Day 230 Solomon builds with great care do we?

Solomon builds the temple with great care. I am always amazed at the specificity of the temple and the intricate detail. In our modern structures of worship, do we go to such lengths? A theology of architecture would be fascinating to develop. When is it justified to build the best for the Lord? Or when is it better to be practical and not be enamored with a building or structure?
