Day 269 What are the wages of sin?

While Job's friends seek to explain his suffering. Job proclaims..."though He slay me yet will I trust him." His suffering is producing faith in that moment. His friends keep thinking there is a payoff for Job's sin. Paul reflects that sin is not to continue because we have grace. He also is clear that the ultimate destination of sin leads to death..."For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Interesting to read at the same time as Job.
