Day 278 What did Jeremiah pray?

In tracking the prayers of the Bible, Jeremiah prays a short prayer in today's reading..."Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise"...beautiful words to repeat over and over again. God is the source of healing, saving, and praise. The simplicity of Jeremiah is appreciated in seeking to make sense of the lengthy conversations of Job and his friends. Paul says if we boast..."we should boast of the Lord." Is this not praise?
