Day 328 Who could stand the heat under pressure?

Who can take the heat? Stand the heat? Show grace under pressure in the midst of the heat?
The answers are provided in a chapter displaying the mighty power of God. The king with a very short memory from Daniel is furious with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego for not worshipping as everyone else. They remain loyal to God. He orders the fire seven times hotter in the furnace and orders the three Jews burned. What follows is an incredible moment of faith. In the midst of the fire, God is with us. Isaiah would later write of God's power not to be burned. Here is the account of Daniel..."So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them." Our faith is sometimes about taking the heat and knowing God's warmth will provide the power of escape.
