What Book of the Bible is shorter than study notes? That would be the Book of Philemon. In this Book Paul appeals from prison to receive Onesimus. Paul says "receive him as you would receive me." Paul anticipates making a visit soon and also asks for a place to stay. This Book is one chapter and not very complicated. Perhaps the theme is receiving others with hospitality.
