Day 91..."Moving toward Canaan...Continuing Psalms...Beginning Luke"

Canaan is near! Numbers recounts the journey for Israel in much detail. The boundaries of Canaan are also set. The forty years of wandering are nearing completion in anticipation of entering Caanan. According to Psalms 91, the Lord will protect us and we can trust Him...
"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,my God, in whom I trust.” The Gospel of Luke is addressed to Theophilus. His name also appears in the introduction of the Book of Acts. Luke penned both Books. Matthew begins with genealogy...Mark with baptism...Luke with amazing birth stories. Zachariah and Elizabeth, both advanced in years, will be the parents for John the Baptist. The angel foretells of Mary conceiving through the Holy Spirit...and Jesus will reign over the house of Jacob forever! Nothing is impossible for God! More tomorrow.
