Day 152 "How to be born anew?"
How is one born a second time?.... Nicodemus asked. Pay attention to Jesus' answer about the Spirit and the wind. John Wesley heard it was about our spirit encountering God's Spirit. Is this not new birth? When our spirit encounters God's Spirit. In consistency, with chapter one, about spiritual creation. This story of Nicodemus gives us a real life experience of how this happens.
It is possible to be born a second time.

In the Kingdom of God everything comes by birth. In later teachings Jesus discusses "Birth Pains" as being the signs before the coming end for example. Baptism in water is the outward expression of the inward New Birth into the Kingdom of God. In the case of the OLD worldly life it requires death, the New by Birth into a new creation with resurrection life in Jesus. Have you experienced this new life for it is appointed for all to die and those who have died will not fear the second death.
